experiencing body image issues, burnout, and low self-esteem
Hi, I’m Lindsey! I am a Student Intern pursuing my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I serve clients virtually in Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. I chose to become a social worker because I saw there was a growing need for people to have a supportive and safe environment to work through their feelings and their struggles. I have always felt called to support those wrestling with mental health and life difficulties in a clinical setting.
I am most passionate about helping people manage their stress by teaching them coping skills, improve relationships through learning effective communication issues as well as helping girls and women learn to accept their bodies and appreciate all of who they are.
My favorite part about treating clients is seeing them realize the power they have to make changes in their lives and find a better tomorrow. I love providing clients with a safe space to process their emotions and their experiences in a healthy and beneficial way.
As my client, you can expect me to put you first in every session, highlighting each of your strengths. In my gentle approach, you can expect to learn how to navigate those self-defeating thoughts, process uncomfortable emotions, and make meaningful behavioral changes.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time friends and family, camping and occassionally rock climbing.
