Hi, I’m Kimberly, but you can call me Kim or Kimi! I am a Student Intern pursuing my Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Walden University, currently in the hands-on practice portion of obtaining my master’s degree. I serve clients in Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi

My care for the development and wellbeing of others has been a lifetime passion. Growing up, I was always the unofficial helper, which continues to reflect in my work now, as an emerging therapist. I love lending a helping hand to my clients, being a non-judgmental presence and ally for them to make necessary breakthroughs.

My sincerest hope is that our work together creates a positive ripple effect in the world. As we work together to bring you to those lightbulb moments, your new, changed self will show up as a positive beacon of hope and transformation for others. In such a chaotic world, we could all use a little bit more light and security.

As your therapist, it is my job to help you process and navigate the storms in your life. Our time together will establish a safe base for you to explore, question, and reflect upon your experiences, which will help you see the solutions you’ve always been capable of finding. We’ll collaborate to toss aside irrational and fear-based beliefs and replace them with positive hope and self-confidence.

Some of my therapeutic approaches include rational emotive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy watching K-dramas, getting creative with crafts and recipes, being active by spending time in the water and doing Pilates, reading and writing, and spending time with friends and family.
